ELBOW CAY RECOVERY
On September 1, 2019 Hurricane Dorian made landfall on Elbow Cay as a Category 5 hurricane, ushering in a 20 foot storm surge and packing winds in excess of 200mph, making it the worst natural disaster the country has ever seen. We are recovering, rebuilding, and planning for a better and brighter future.

DUNE STAIRS
Helping Dune Protection with Public Access Stairs
Abandoned Vehicle Removal
Clearing vehicle debris from the island.
Marine Clean-Up
Partnering with Friends of the Environment and IDEA to help remove marine debris in the Elbow Cay area. This work is currently underway and supported by ECRA.
World Ocean Day Beach Clean-Up
ECRA is delighted to partner with Friends of the Environment on a beach clean-up project which will take place on 8 June, to coincide with the World Ocean’s Day. Meet at 11:30AM at St James Community Centre. BYO water bottle. See you there!
